Breakfast Pizza Pie


INGREDIENTS:

5 Large Eggs

1 9-inch frozen pie crust or 1 package of refrigerated dough

1 can sausage gravy or make your own

1/4 cup milk or heavy cream

4-6 ounces shredded cheddar cheese

1 tsp all purpose seasoning like Kinder's master salt


INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat oven to 375F


Prepare pie crust. If crust does not come in a tin, place crust in metal or glass pie dish. You can use a frozen or refrigerated pie crust, either works well with this recipe.


Prepare egg mixture in a medium bowl, beat together eggs, milk, cheese and seasoning until well blended - leave a cup of cheese for topping at the end.


I used my Ninja Foodi XL AF oven and did 2 racks - one for crust and one for eggs in a separate ceramic dish. Cook pie crust for 15-20 min until golden brown; stir eggs halfway; the eggs may look "wet" but will cook more at the end.


Meanwhile, make your own gravy or use a premade one like Libby's canned gravy.


After pie crust and eggs are cooked and cooled, spread gravy evenly into the cooled pie crust, then add scrambled up eggs on top of the gravy.


Sprinkle cheese evenly over egg mixture and bake for 5-6 more minutes.
